Time Tracker v1.1 - new features coming soon!

Based on some pretty awesome feedback that I've received from people who apparently find Time Tracker v1.0 very useful, I'm adding a few new features and improvements to the user interface.

Updated Sidebar Widget

Not everyone has a widescreen-format display, so to help save as many horizontal pixels as possible. For example, the original layout required you to run your Lotus Notes Client Sidebar at approximately 330 pixels. The new layout however can be "minimized" down to 170 pixels.

Time Tracker
v1.1 - Lotus Notes Client Widget - running 280 pixels wide!

I'm playing around with the idea to allow you to toggle to a view of your time from within the widget - might wait unitl v1.2 though...

Time Tracker SmartIcons

Some of you have yet to upgrade to a release of Lotus Notes that even has a Sidebar. No reason you have to jump back and forth from your work to your efficiency tracking solution anymore!

Yes - of course - you could create your own SmartIcons and wire them to your instance of Time Tracker using the following Formula:

Notes://Domino Server Name or blank of Local/Database Name/widget?OpenForm

... but I'm looking to formalize both the SmartIcon icon set as well as making it even easier for the non-yellowbleeder to use this utility.

Upcoming/Future Release Features and Suggestions (might not make v1.1, but coming soon!)

So far...:

  • Blackberry Client Application
  • More Reporting/Exporting Options
  • Multi-lingual/User-defined Verbiage

Missing something?

Am I missing a feature that would make this a killer app for you or someone in your organization? Comment to this post and give me your suggestions!
