Presentation: IBM Lotus Notes Domino XPages and XPages for Mobile Device Apps

Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting at IBM's NYC offices for an assembled group of Lotus customers. The topics covered were introductions to all-things-IBM Lotus Notes & Domino 8.5.n. For my part, I presented an overview of XPages and an intro on creating XPage-based apps for Mobile Devices.

It went well! There were more admins in the assembled group than developers, so my presentation wasn't too development-heavy, but there was nuggets of what I think are invaluable information not only for XPage developers, but for XPage developers looking to create Mobile Device apps.

Without further ado...

I'm thankful to the IBMers who invited me to speak, as well as the customers who listened to me babble on about the quick wins and low hanging fruit that's available to an XPage development.

The one sentence version of this presentation: XPages are the future of the IBM Lotus Notes & Domino platform, and we have an opportunity with this technology to evolve the user experience and strengthen the platform.
