Products & Applications
Time Tracker
The idea is simple. At the start of your day - upon completion of your first task - create an entry highlighting what you did and whether you feel it was an efficient or inefficient use of your time. Based on several requests, you can also select the priority, apply categories, or even align your time against a project.
For Lotus Notes Client v8.0 and above, you can use the Time Tracker Widget to make this process even easier!
Zephyr
My Configuration-based Rich Text Mail Merge and Emailing Utility, Zephyr allows you to create rich, data-driven emails to support automated workflow - all via Microsoft Word Mail Merge-like architecture. Dear <firstname> allows you to personalize each email message not only to the individual recipient, but also to the individual application workflow event!
xCopy
xCopy is a simple configurable xCopy client for the Lotus Notes client. By creating and defining xCopy Profiles, you can batch process your file backup or remote upload jobs. With the addition of the xCopy sidebar widget, you can easily kick-off these jobs, and modify both the xCopy Profiles and xCopy itself.

IBM XPages Project WIN: UI / UX Evolution of Customer Solution
06/07/2012 12:36:00 PM by Chris Toohey
I don't typically talk about my employer on the site... but this press release talks about one of my customer projects. And since I'm proud of the work the customer has produced under this mentor and unblock Professional Services engagement.
From the press release:
Due to the rapidly evolving user expectations of the Web 2.0 world, construction services provider VCC recognized the need to modernize their award-winning Construction Project Management System, Endeavour, into a highly functional Web application that could be delivered via the cloud. Because of the application's foundation in Lotus Notes, and in order to maximize the firm's multi-year development investment in Endeavour, VCC chose to implement the latest version on the IBM XPages platform. Reaching out to GBS in the early phases of the project for its proven expertise in XPages application development, user experience enhancement and cloud deployment capabilities, GBS was able to help VCC develop a system framework that would ensure the performance, scalability and maintainability of the solution well into the future. This, while making the design attractive and easy to use for clients including facilities managers and superintendents.
Jerry Horani, IT Director of VCC stated, "Converting our existing applications to XPages was a necessary step in the evolution of our Endeavour platform as we move to the cloud. Thanks to GBS's technology, the transition was quick and seamless. The modernized version of Endeavour now features all of the powerful functionality of its predecessor with enhanced access capabilities and fresh, new, intuitive user interfaces that we believe will greatly improve user productivity for all of our customers."
The project is a blast! VCC's lead developer is an absolute expert in IBM Lotus Notes Domino Web Application Development and has done amazing things with XPages and advancing their application UI/UX.
I'm happy when a customer is happy - it makes for a great working relationship. I'm thrilled with the success of this project, and personally look forward to the next phase which promises taking XPages far beyond RAD and the platforms perceived out of the box limitations.
I'm also happy when a technology that I hang my hat on like XPages can deliver the big win.
