Products & Applications

Showtime
My Blackberry Enterprise Server Push Utility for the Lotus Notes Client, allows you to create Jobs for individual Channel, Message, and Browser Content Pushes, as well as allows you to delete Pushed Channel Icons from defined recipient devices.

Time Tracker
The idea is simple. At the start of your day - upon completion of your first task - create an entry highlighting what you did and whether you feel it was an efficient or inefficient use of your time. Based on several requests, you can also select the priority, apply categories, or even align your time against a project.

For Lotus Notes Client v8.0 and above, you can use the Time Tracker Widget to make this process even easier!

Zephyr
My Configuration-based Rich Text Mail Merge and Emailing Utility, Zephyr allows you to create rich, data-driven emails to support automated workflow - all via Microsoft Word Mail Merge-like architecture. Dear <firstname> allows you to personalize each email message not only to the individual recipient, but also to the individual application workflow event!

xCopy
xCopy is a simple configurable xCopy client for the Lotus Notes client. By creating and defining xCopy Profiles, you can batch process your file backup or remote upload jobs. With the addition of the xCopy sidebar widget, you can easily kick-off these jobs, and modify both the xCopy Profiles and xCopy itself.

About Chris Toohey

Chris TooheyChris Toohey, perhaps best known from dominoGuru.com, is an award-winning ICS developer, technical author, and community advocate. Chris brings over 14 years of experience with ICS products to the global community of IT professionals through both online and "real world" evangelism. Chris has presented for The View's admin2010 & developer2010 and various Lotus User Groups, was named the PlanetLotus.org 2009 Blogger of the Year, an IBM Champion for Lotus/ICS 2012, and -- on most evenings -- can be found writing "Best Practices" material for the IBM Lotus Notes Domino Application Developer.

About www.dominoguru.com

LNDI have been publishing articles and (sometimes) maintaining a weblog since October 23rd, 2002 - mainly for two reasons:

  1. I get a geek-flavored buzz from helping someone with a problem.
  2. I wanted to find a way to build on my development skills.

I know that I've built and continue to build my development skills each passing day, and I hope that something on this website has helped people who were looking for a solution to their given issue.

About the future...

You're currently reading this on the v2 template architecture that I've written to "offer" this site. Aside from ongoing changes to the site, you will also see an fluxuation in the content - in my line of work, diversifying your portfolio is the lifeblood of your ability to leverage existing technology investments while providing solutions that will carry the client into the next few years. This being said, I will more-than-likely maintain a certain type of information here... but the content can/will shift depending on where I am at any given point.

Contact

I try to make myself available for contact to pretty much anyone who would like to touch base. While I might be working onsite with a client at the given time you need to reach me - please don't be put off if I write back "otp" or "with client". That being said, here's a few ways to get in touch with me:
