Facebook on Blackberry - Desktop [IPPP] causing issues?

After playing around with the new Facebook application for Blackberry on my new AT&T 8820, I came across the following article that finally did the trick and allowed me to connect: How to get the Blackberry Facebook app to work from Fortune's Tech Daily.

Mind you, I'm not suggesting that Blackberry users run around and (as per the linked article) start deleting their Desktop [IPPP] entries in their Service Books, but I'm certainly going to take a look into this further (and then undelete said Service Book entry) in the morning...
