Your Development & Design Resource

Happy Birthday, and special thanks to Yancy Lent!

I use Google Chrome as my primary, day-to-day web browser (Firefox for development, and IE when testing extranet/customer applications, etc.). One really slick feature of Chrome is the Workspace-like chicklet quicklaunch icons of your most frequently accessed websites. Click for a "New Tab" or start a new instance of Chrome, and you're a single click away from the websites you - based on your browsing history - frequently visit.

The first chicklet on my list should be no surprise to anyone who is an active part in this community:

Ed put it better than I think I could when he reminded us of all of the other not-so-successful attempts at creating a "one stop shop" for us YellowBleeders -- and's continued evolution and success is the product of Yancy's hard work and forward-thinking.

So happy (belated) birthday, and thank you Yancy - you've succeeded where others have failed and continue to deliver an invaluable resource to our community.

... and I can't wait to see what's in store for year 2!
